| About the Artist: Bruce Peil was born and raised in Oklahoma and now resides in East Texas. He is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America, and is the cofounder of the Outdoor Painters Society. His paintings are in many corporate and private collections and he is widely recognized for his landscape paintings of the American West. The Artist on his Art: “There is a wide variety of subject matter that excites me. Whether it is a majestic mountain scene or the more simple pastoral scenes in the area where we live, it’s that fleeting moment in time that I try most to capture in my paintings.
